We love books

Adopt-A-Book KC started September 2014 with donations of gently used books from people like you and other groups. A core group of people help retrieve, clean, inventory, sort, and then deliver the books to new owners; underprivileged youth. We currently find the books New Owners in local food pantries and through the Harvester's BackSnack point of contacts (POC) in the KC metro area.

Underprivileged youth should own their OWN books!

How To Help

It's all about the kids.

If you would like to help, here are a few ways to join the effort:

Donate your gently used youth books.

Encourage others to donate their books by spreading the message through your friends, family, and co-workers.

Help retrieve books from donors.

Help deliver books to the food pantries and the BackSnack POCs.
